Growth Comments: Grande Mocha is a huge plant. She responding exceptionally well to LST, with lots and lots of tops, each with a long, glistening cola. By the time she was finished she was taking up the majority of a 5×5 tent. She had a really great open structure, with not a lot of leaf, and handled nutrients (heavy feeder), training, and defoliation very well. She did require support in late flower.
Comments on smell (during growth, harvest, etc.): Grande Mocha had low odor during early flower, ramping up to a chocolatey coffee smell later in flower and during harvest. After a cure she has a strong chocolate coffee smell, with a background of chocolate chip cookies. This is a strong smelling strain.

The Smoke: Grande Mocha is very smooth, and tasty on inhale. She has good lung expansion and is very hard to put down. After enjoying a joint, the house smells of coffee and cookies.

The High: This is a nice indica dominant hybrid. Relaxed, chill, happy, excellent pain relief, good for anxiety, depression.

Final Comments: This is possibly the best all around strain for a medical patient. High yielding, easy to grow, useable during the day with moderate doses, and perfect for the evening at higher doses. This strain has a bit of a cumulative effect associated with the high. Insomnia is no match for the high doses of Grande Mocha. The tastes and smells of this plant are absolutely delicious! I also found this strain enhances audio perception, making a great smoke to chill out and listen to music to. The pain relieving effects of this strain are excellent. Starting with a lower dose, pain will fade into the background while leaving you motivated enough to get some work done, go for a hike, etc. With higher doses, pain is replaced by a nice tingling, floating sensation, that is accompanied by great anti-inflammation properties. I can’t say enough good things about this strain! Sometimes you sacrifice high yields, for quality…..not with this strain. Grand Mocha will fill the top shelf with jar after jar of sticky, delicious mocha flavored buds! This is a must grow, easily a 10/10 in my opinion.
