Lights type and schedule: Light Emitting Ceramic, 3 vertically hung Phillips CMH lights. 20 hours on 4 hour off.
Days from Seed: 55-68
Harvest Points: At 55 days the main colas where ready to be taken down. After, they were cut down, 13 days later I took the next bit down allowing for the undergrowth to get more light so it can mature and harden. I make sure the trics are at cloudy but I tend to harvest when the pistils turn and stop most of their growth.
Dry Yield: 59 grams
Growth Comments: I grew out 10 Amber. The strain was very stable, a lot of the attributes where the same at least with what I grew. Generally the reviews I do will be for several beans at once. That way I can understand the strain better. During growth they took off right off the gate. I topped them at the 3rd node but they still ended up being slightly taller than 2 feet.
Comments on smell (during growth, harvest, etc.): The smell during full flower was a good bit musky. Very potent skunky/ floral musk.
The Smell: Sandalwood, Earthy, Berry, Pepper, Pine, Skunk, Musk, Incense
The Smoke: Once dried, it had a floral musk with hints of berrys and candy.
However, once smoked I couldn’t put my finger on the taste. I had many people smoke it. It was a one of a kind of smoke. It literally tasted like opium. Very incense like flavor, which was smooth but would burn your nose a bit because it was so resinous. At times it had a piney taste to it, but after smoking trainwreck for several years almost daily. It really had a lot of the attributes you would find in a good wreck.

The High: The high will straight up hit you in the face and eyes. My head felt like it was vibrating and my body started tingling. It was a very pleasant feeling.

Final Comments: Amber was a consistent strain. The attributes seemed to be pretty close between the different plants. Most of the plants turned a very beautiful purple and blood red. Def. could tell it had some wreck in it, I liked that a lot. It would hit you really hard and very fast but it didn’t give you couchlock at all. I felt I could do things, just a tad slower than I normally would. The smoke almost had a soapy / perfume taste but had a really powerful opium floral flavor that over powered it all. Very Potent smoke. It also brought my ankle pain down from a 8 to a 5, and for most people I can see their pain going down more than me because of my tolerance to pain meds.
