Harvest Points: Moon Tears is a fast finisher. In my set up the main colas that are closest to the light will mature faster so those are the first to be harvested.
If you wanted you could proabably get a sample in 50-55 days. It normally is done by 65-70 days.
Dry Yield (grams): Average yeild would be about an Oz a plant but I am not known to grow heavy yeilders, but I’ve seen this strain grown out by VapedAs that was crushing on the scales. Mad respect to him!
Growth Comments: Moon Tears has two sizes Large and small. However, after saying that, Moon tears is also the most beautiful plant. Such sureal colours, it is breathtaking. Simple Stunning.
Back on track here…The growth is fast and furious. At first you will notice a ton of frost. So much faster than I’ve ever seen it on any other strain I’ve grown from the Portal! It will finish so quick, you feel awkward chopping it down. But you will know when you look at how ridiculously tight the bud is, all covered in frost and then even more frost covered in that frost.
I like to leave it on the plant longer but it can legitimately take down early and it would be very proper. There are times when you need bud in a hurry and Moon Tears is that bud that you can take down and not feel guilty about, mabye a little. lol
Comments on smell (during growth, harvest, etc.): The smell, it is a smell bomb of berries, musk, bubblegum, candy or maybe even plums. The smell is so addictive. I wish I could make it into a perfume.
The smell is so close to a perfect 10. If you try this I will be shocked if you rate it lower than a 9. This is some candy dank daank from the land of the Umpa Lumpas.
The Smell: Berry, Floral, Blueberry, Fruit, Bubblegum, Grape, Skunk, Citrus, Musk, Spice, Incense
The Smoke: The smoke is already intimidating because of frosty and dense this bud is. Your lungs immediate cringe, preparing for what is to come.
Well, it should. This smoke is very strong, yet smooth but it will expand and cling to your lungs. The flavor at first is almost what it smells like but very quickly becomes extremely sweet hashy skunky flavor, which I found to be a little odd because it is almost the opposite of what it smelled like. So the smell doesn’t translate to the taste. IT is one of the few strains that I smoke that does a 180 on you. Like your ready to taste some candy and then you get skunk musk with hints of fruity candy it smelled before it was burnt. So strange!

The High: A solid indica, it makes me very relaxed. A very good sleep aid when smoked in excess. I found it to be a night smoke. I did smoke it in the day plenty of times, but I found it hard to be productive. It would make me forget things and made multitasking kinda hard. Yet it does give you a nice sense of creativity which is hard to find in a good indica. I would say it made me goofy. Good laughing weed as well.

I found Moon Tears helped me get goofy and creative. It was great for going to bed.
I am sure it would be good for pain relief but it is more of a med to help you make light of the stresses of the world.

Final Comments: Moon Tears is a good smoke. You will have tears when you run out. It is always a good time if you’re smoking it.
To be honest I haven’t stopped growing Moon Tears since I first grew it. It has been a staple in my garden right up there with my stone dragons and moonstones!
Who ever grows moon tears will be very happy. Smell and taste is so close to a perfect 10. I feel I need to keep growing her until I figured out how she likes to be cured best. She is great fast dried in the fridge, and then cured in a bag or jar after!
