Medium: Veganic Living Soil (Dirt)
Nutrients: Buildasoil I use to nutrient/mineral kit and mix it in to my dirt, which is 1 part wormcasting, 1 part peat moss, 1 part aeration + beneficials
Lights type and schedule: HPS and MH 20 hours on, 4 hours off. Vertically hung naked bulbs.
Days from Seed: 115 days
Harvest Points: 90-115 Days. I harvest when trics are cloudy and maybe even some ambers. I generally harvest when the particular bud looks ripe. I like to harvest them when pistil throwing comes down to a crawl. At this point I feel the terps are at their peak, as long as the trics are cloudy I will then cut said bud off.
Dry Yield: 84 grams
Growth Comments: Fairy Breath is very quick to take off. A very hardy plant. Fairy Breath testers I grew were twice the size of any of the plants we have grown before, all of them. Literally can watch it grow. LOL This one grew almost 3 feet when done and that was even topping it. I feel as if I could of grown this better. It did take a little while for the frost to kick in. I was battling a lot of bug issues. Thrips and fungus gnats. Bastards!! Long story short, I got the soil dialed in and seem to have a few bugs that like eating fungus gnat eggs. So it’s been 4 months now and I haven’t seen but 1 or 2.
Comments on smell (during growth, harvest, etc.): The smell at first was a crisp sweet smell but as it went into full-flowering, a lemon bomb of smells erupted from Fairy Breath. Everyday I would walk in, I knew it was in there. The smell was a crisp fresh sweet lemon. It didn’t have a skunky smell at all. It was a really delicate zing of sweet lemon, smelled very natural as if you rubbed a lemon skin. However, it may have a delicate smell but the smell was very potent and loud. The smell was strong all the way through from drying to curing. It was pleasure shaking the paper bag and getting hit in the face by it.
The Smell: Haze, Fruit, Lemon, Pear
The Smoke: When you inhale it, you immediately taste the crisp sweetness followed by a sweet lemon haze. The fresh hits have a very strong lemon flavor but as you continue to smoke and it starts to get a hashy/hazey kind of taste. The lemon isn’t as pronounced but terps seem to cover the inside of your mouth in a lemon oil. So you still can taste it a good while after.

The High: The High is not immediate, it is a creeper. It feels very electric and colorful a tiny bit speedy but it seems to comfort you allowing you to let it take you past your comfort level.

Final Comments: Fairy Breath was a good day dreamer smoke. Very uplifting and energetic, smoke too much and it becomes more of zen like introspection. The good thing about Fairy Breath is that it may open your mind a bit but it does it in a loving way that feels assuring.
I’d love to see this strain to be continued to be worked, I feel if enough of these are grown there would be some really nice keepers. The taste was seriously a A+ and the high was very fun and exciting. I normally wouldn’t like to have my mind wander so far but the high comforted me and made being introspective a good experience.
