Lights type and schedule: 20/4, With 945 watts of CMH bulbs hung vertically.
Days from Seed: 65-80
Harvest Points: 65 days and you can begin to cut some ripe buds depending on a few factors, pot size, light when the plant doesn’t occur any stress.
Dry Yield (grams): 32 average
Growth Comments: Plants tend to be on the smaller side as for now, I would love to see this strain worked a little bit more for size only because it produces the best looking herb I’ve ever seen, hands down. I just love the deep purple and pink calyxes.
Blue Jade is also one of the faster frosting strains too it will begin to frost once it hits preflower. At this point, the smell starts to get stirred up and it will demand your attention. It comes out of the gate smelling like pure berries, very sweet… it is very intoxicating.
The growth is also very dense, and thick. The plants don’t get that big but the little bit left swells with frosty space bud.
Comments on smell (during growth, harvest, etc.): Smell hit’s fast once it reaches preflower. It has a very complex berry smell that is very sweet and intoxicating. It reminded me of DJ Short Blueberry but was even stronger.
When it was harvested, it the terpenes were so dense and fragrant. Trimming it was like aroma therapy. “Ahh, Calgone take me away!”
Once dried, I lost a little bit of the smell. Probably overdried it because my room was a bit warm 83 degrees. Not a good idea to dry bud in a warm room but you got to do what you got to do. At the time it was my only option. However, once you squeezed the bud, it was very fragrant.
Once, I left a 1-2 gram bud in a my car and for days I couldn’t find it but it smelled so bad in there, mind you the heat in there is probably 135 degrees during the summer months. I felt the people driving in back of me were following me because of it’s seductive smell. LOL Very dank bud!
The Smell: Berry, Citrus, Musk, Raspberry
The Smoke: The smoke is thick and heavy. Your lungs quiver in fear but your mouth wins out every time. The inhale is very tasty like sweet berries and when you exhale it turns quickly to a sweet hashy skunk berry. Almost as if the skunk ate the berry and pooped it out then rolled it in sugar. Hahahaha It is some skunky berry that for sure. I love the taste, sorry for the description, I believe Musturd is the one who came up with something like that orginally! HIGH FIVE!
I recommend growing this little guy so you can bare witness to it’s colorful splender and unique skunky berry taste!
This best summarizes her. “She is Classy in the streets and a freak in the sheets” Becasue before you set fire to her she smells so crisp, sweet and berry, very classy. However, once you set her on fire that sweet smell turns to a Skunk berry musk. LOL
